One of my favourite TV shows recently was 'Cosmos'. The last episode of the series was called Unafraid Of the Dark, and it was a clever play on dark matter (of all things). But I've been thinking about that term a lot, in particular during the Scottish referendum. How fear drives people, that unknown - the dark. How we don't know something, we don't trust it. It's something we need to fight against, and that term has now become a personal mantra.
